Pixie Lott (born Victoria Louise Lott on 12th of January 1991) is an English singer–songwriter, actress and dancer, signed to Mercury Records in the UK and Interscope Records in the U.S. Her debut single "Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh)" was released for download on 6 June 2009 and physically on 8 June,[2] going straight to number one in the UK on the issue dated 14 June 2009;[3] Billboard magazine's website described Lott as the first British female solo artist to debut atop the singles chart in her native country not to be launched off a (reality) television program. Follow-up single "Boys and Girls", released on 5 September 2009, gave Lott her second consecutive UK chart-topper, reaching the top position the week of 13 September 2009.
